One of my friends had lbp BETA empty level under they're name and in pod also, but he said it's a new feature and can't tell me, is there really or is he being noob?

If it says BETA next to the game he's playing it's probably not true and he's probably a noob.

Beta testers aren't actually allowed to disclose any information due to the NDA or Non Disclosure Agreement of Beta Testing. So you can only go by your own evidence I'm afraid.

While testers aren't allowed to talk about the specifics of a BETA, there is nothing stopping them from saying there is a new one underway.

Heck, you can even see if people are on the BETA as it's listed on what they are playing in a friends list.

However, that doesn't stop anyone from passing on information that's already out there to be found.

If anyone receives a beta code that they don't wish to use, please let me have it. I have been a long time LBP player and wish to have the experience of being in a beta.

Please let me know if you have an extra code you don't want.

No, you're not supposed to receive a codes from anyone - they wouldn't work in the first place and you wouldn't be able to access the Beta forums.
People are selected into the Beta by email this time round and if you're not in, then maybe next time.
