LBP - PS Vita & Ad Hoc

Well, I was just wondering, will it support ad hoc? It would be a nice feature because we will be able to play with our friends anywhere, without internet access to be required...

Re: LBP - PS Vita & Ad Hoc

You need internet access to play online with others, to play anywhere you need to get the Wifi 3G AT&T which you will have to pay every month for the 3G.

Re: LBP - PS Vita & Ad Hoc

I was talking about direct communication between two ps vitas.

But as it seems, it won't be capable of that, and that's a shame because it would be really nice.

Thanks!

Yeah, I mean, what else can it be? Splitscreen? I'm sure not :smileytongue: I can only think of playing with others via internet or ad hoc...

Actually, one of the mini-games they revealed at the PlayStation Access events was a air-hockey game with two players, each controlling a paddle at their end of the screen, using touch controls. so multiple players on one console is certainly possible.

I wouldn't give that webpage too much credibility though. Online videos show multiple sackboys swinging and jumping around so some form of multi-device multiplayer must be possible.
