So I went to pre-order LBP2 Collectors Edition from Game Stop the other day (store not website). They took my money down and said it has been done. I asked them to confirm it was the CE and not regular they said it was and the total was a little over $60 with tax. I told them then they did not get me the CE and they said they pre-ordered the only SKU in the system. I took my money back and told them that I asked for the CE edition and not the only SKU in their system. I know their website has it listed and it may be different for different stores but if you think you have the CE edition pre-ordered from them you may want to double check. I know if I did not I would show up and only get the regular edition. Pre-Oreded at Best Buy and all is good.
PS: This post is not to bash Game Stop but more of a warning so others do not get burned.

Well the CE edition actually costs $80 dollars not $60 dollars, so either they were confused and thought you meant the normal version (which is odd since you did say the CE edition but who knows) or some weird reason. I guess it's just some mystery never to be solved perhaps.
I don't get why some Gamestops are better then others. Mine just seems to maange to keep everything in perfect shape and I haven't had any problems with them like some have said they have had. I know though I have a CE edition though because I made sure of it that I did.

That was my first clue they did not pre-order the right one as I knew the cost going in. So they said the CE SKU could not be pre-ordered in the store and could only be pre-ordered online. Was that true for all Game Stops or just the one by me?
