Hi All,
My son is having awfull difficulties with Little Big Planet 2 where the game loading times are very very long when trying to enter a level.
I've read online some where that it could be related to having many profiles on the PS3, he had 5, so i've deleted 2 but no avail.
So far i've tried the following and before i do a full format i was wondering if any one had similar issues and what it took them to fix this:
- Deleted the LBP2 Game Date and re downloaded
- Try playing while not connected to PSN
- File System Restore through safe menu
- Delete 2 redundant profiles
Other then formatting an starting from scratch I am at a loss. Note , all other games are working just fine.
Thanks in Advance.

Is it a downloaded game from PSN or disc ?
This may help
Also LBP saves both the game and a user differently? can you tell us the one you tried deleting ?
The user says the players name and has image of their sackboy
the game just says the games title
I wouldnt format the hard drive yet as you will lose everything
Btw Some loading screen are long because of Lag (but you tried when disconnected from PSN
is it the story level you are playing ?

Thanks for the response.
The game is disc based and has always worked fine, the dic is clean and has no scratches. He hasn't played it for awhile hence i mentioned the mulitple profiles.
I deleted the actual game data, not any profile data under [Game Data].
He is indeed going through the story level again and not doing anything online (yet).

i hope you find a solution
I think i just did taking something from your response. I went in and actually delete his Profile data as well, this resolved the issue. Unfortunately for him , he will have to do some levels again ![]()
Thanks for responding, you've been a help.
