The first post in this thread states

"Early December – A new batch of PlayStation Plus subscribers are invited into the LittleBigPlanet 2 beta trial."

I take that to mean some and not all.

Hmm, it's curious. On the official EU Playstation blog, I've asked the same question. Yet weeks later, and still no answer. As said above, it does say a new batch, and later on in the article it stresses you should not be disappointed if you do not get the Beta, and how "we cannot open up the beta to everyone". 

Remember this is a worldwide beta, so it could not possibly accommodate the total Playstation Plus+ Population. 

And as for the story Demo, you should try it out! It will give you a chance to see some of the amazingly intricate levels, and remember Media Molecule aren't trying to ruin the main storyline for you, therefore they'll make sure it's only a few impertinent levels.

It will not be to ALL Plus users, it will be an invited e-mail campaign which will be sent to those who have been selected.

I was just wondering around when this would be happening, and how you will be distinguishing users?

Dude, respect the fact he has replied and he said soon, so just wait, it can't be too long. Finding out the truth about how users are chosen for the beta may end up disappointing you. I think its ok to discuss it but I don't think its necessary to pester those who really know whats going on
