I'm actually in EU. Not sure why it says us.playstation but I assumed that is was a generic email they sent to everybody.

Did you sign up using a US account you created to access the US store? if so then it probably is region-locked so that would be why you're not able to redeem the code, perhaps if you login to your US account you can redeem it there instead?

Yeah, I was aware of that, but was told - perhaps incorrectly - that the first wave of beta codes was going to the beta community first. Or maybe the second wave followed very closely afterwards.

I don't own a US account. I also signed up using the link in the EU blog - so I believe it's safe to assume I signed up to the right page. Maybe I have a US beta code somehow. Would it work on any US account? So in theory I could make one and it would work?

Hmm, final question... When you signed up to express your interest in the beta, did you us

• the US link - http://us.playstation.com/lbp-karting-beta/

If it was the latter, your problem is explained. If it was the former, then something seems to have gone a bit skewhiff.

Fairly sure I used the EU one. I used the link from the EU blog (I have it bookmarked and first found out about it from that blog). I shall try to  create a US account tonight and see if it work with that.

Edit - I can confirm it worked perfectly with an US account. Either I somehow managed to go to the US sign up page from the EU blog or they sent me an US code by accident.

Oh well. I can play it now at least
