We never thought that there would be a LBP2.  MM even said that they wouldn't make a sequel (obviously nearly all of us are glad they did).

But who knows what they could do in terms of new gadgets and tools now.

Still, I hope LBP is still alive and kicking whenever the PS4 comes out

Somehow I don't think there will be a LBP 2 . Well at least not for a long, long time. Just think about how many new features there will be in LBP 2. You can create your own songs, and this time make mini-games as well as levels. It's a shame that they didn't look for more players for LBP 2 because I wanted to throw a big Pod-Party once. But because there can be only 4 human players there can't be huge pod parties .

But let's look on the brighter side of things. LBP 2 will contain the "Sackbot" which you can programme it to do anything you want. And I do mean anything. Anyone up for a robotic girlfriend/boyfriend ?

I can't wait for LBP 2 to come out!

P.S: I' m pretty sure most LBP 2 fans know about this already but if you don't then there is bad news regarding the release date of LittleBigPlanet 2. LBP 2's original release date was supposed to be somewhere between November 20-30 but Mm has just figured out that they won't be able to keep to this release date so it's been officially delayed to January 2090... JOKE! Ok for real now. It's been delayed to January 2011. Yeah I'm sad about this too but what I think that caused the delay is because the massive amounts of bugs in LBP 2. But "Better late then never" .

Absolutely. All complaints of Sony releasing a console with limited software would be nullified if the PS4 came bundled with LBP3

Well, I do think that the LBP2 facebook page made a "hint hint" about LBP3, They said "Please support this band blah blah blah They will make music for LBP3!"

I have a feeling LittleBigPlanet 3 will be considered, and only fabricated if the response to LBP 2 is exceptional. 

LittleBigPlanet 2 was only designed because the sheer magnitute of the tools they wanted to introduce would take up too much room in DLC form, so releasing a new game seemed the bright idea. 

Look at things this way - imagine at least 4 new tools and 4 new powerups, a new storyline with no similarities to the current ones, and then add around 500 materials and 1000 stickers. That is what would be required for a third addition to the series.

But who knows? 2 Is not a very round number, and Media Molecule will most likely wish to continue it to a trilogy. Here's hoping!

Like all good things it is not complete until they do a trilogy and then ruin it with a prologue. So LBP3 will be in 5D (3D + 2D making it epic 5D) and then LBP4 the prologue will go back to 1 pane 2D. Then sales will plummet, investors will get scared and they will all leave to develop for Nintendo.

Not for a very long time, Little Big Planet has just about everything a adventure/puzzle game needs. Their wasent any need for Little Big Planet 2, it was just to re-interest the fans who have given the original game the back shelf.
