In some levels I play it say this is copyable. How does that work

I think it allows you to copy the level for use in your Create Mode.

How you go about it though I don't know, as I've never done it.

I got it you just hit square and it will give you the option at the part where you can heart it. I wonder why people allow you to do that if you can just heart it and play it when you want?

I'd reccomend NOT playing copyable lvls, especially on LBP1, with the amount of "Lvl corruption" these days they're almost all copied lvls themselves.

Levels being copyable has never brought anything positive to LittleBigPlanet and needs to be disabled.

The original idea of the function was so that people could show HOW they made a level, but that's not what it's used for.

Someone in another thread suggested that copied levels shouldn't be able to be republished... that sounds like a good solution... It's probably not as simple as that though, they'd have to disable capture in copied levels or people would just steal it a bit at a time and republish anyway.

There will always be people willing to put a lot of time and effort into not having to make the effort to do something properly... stupid but true.

(hands up) That was me that. Its right though . There really isn't any need for it. Its hard to find a hidden gem in LBP1 without coming across the 1 sec levels or 16 trophy levels. Someone said they liked sometimes copying levels to see how the levels worked but there should be a way to copy levels but put a block on being able to republish the copied level!

I dearly hope they realize this by now.  This results in the online community of levels being a huge clutter with duplicate levels.
