What's the difference between LPB2 regular and LBP Platinum?

Excuse the noob question but I need to know what the difference between the regular LBP2 and the Platinum edition is. Can anyone enlighten me please?

There should be no difference. Platinum just means that the game has been republished at a lower price. Of course, once the 'Platinum' branded editions hit the shelves, the original versions usually get sold at the same sort of price too.

Thanks QW. I have to say that it sounds counter-intuitive to me. Platinum always makes me think that the product should be a 'enhanced' version - y'know, a bit like credit cards.

Anyway, many thanks for the quick reply.

Ah, it's been that way since the first 'budget re-releases' of the PlayStation 1. I think there was an implication in the early days that these were best sellers - i.e. drawing an analogy with music albums that had sold a million copies. But I don't think there's a specific requirement beyond a degree of success, critical or commercial.

You get Prehistoric moves and a Modnation races demo all on the disc.
