Woo!! I completed LBP! *Review*

Yes, i've finally completed LBPs story levels, all thats left todo now is go back and collect items i missed lol. I decided to write a small review about LBP to share my experiance. If you have any questions, feel free to post them here and i'll try to get back to you.

PLAY:

The story of LBP is brilliant, most games these days seem to follow the same old, same old, but LBP brings something original and fresh to the table which is refreshing, funny and a joy to play. In total there are 8 patches and within those are three levels. On each level you have a chance to gain keys to unlock mini games which are just as fun and original as the main story levels.

The feel of the game is great but, it can feel a little, umm... O.o "frumpy", this can lead to annoying mistakes when your trying to ace a level and could be annoying for the younger folks as the controls handle differantly in differant places due to materials, e.g. sliding on glass.

CREATE:

O...M...G! If you can't find the right tool/material/sticker in LBP, you don't belong near LBP lol. It is stuffed to the brim with tools/materials/stickers/items/clothing that your mind will explode with ideas to create things you'd never have thought of before. It has to be said that the best way to approtch LBP is to take your time and get used to what you unlock.

E.G: i completed the first 4 or 5 patches and then did all of the tutorials and started to make a level, but with soo much unlocked it was a little overwhelming and i found it a struggle to get started right away. Those of you lucky enough to have tried the beta, will know that the amount of bits to use was just fine to get started and that after building a few more levels and becoming a little more used to how it all works, but the full version is something else lol, my best advise is just take it easy and start building small levels to get used to it till you reach the stage that you feel that you could do with somemore bits to use in create mode.

Its been said before and i'll say it again, there are time when you pack a level out and you adjust one tiny bit and BOOM! your level falls appart... >.< yes there is a rewind function but the annoying thing is, is once you find there is a problem like that in the level your working on, it can take an awful long time to figure out how to solve the problem and imho, i fear that this will turn away the younger folk and some first time/not so sure creaters which would be a shame as it is a huge aspect of the game.

SHARE:

Umm... The servers aren't online lol.
