I have a DS3,but the stupid Sixaxis control in it makes my sackboy look like he is turning his nose up at everything and looking straight up into the air because i don't play holding the controller with my wrists pointing down(as its uncomfortable)which would make him look forwards normally,i had this problem in LBP1 as well and it was annoying to look at,sure its not effecting the game much,but it's still annoying

does the game let you disable the sixaxis motion control anywhere?

I dont know, but if you push the left stick in as a button the motion control swaps to sack's hips. Whats a DS3 by the way?

DS3 Dual Shock 3 controller (Motion control and force feedback)

The game has a bug in it. that is why sackboy is looking up like that. Even if you use a Wired controller, it will happen

really?,because it did it for LBP 1 as well

If it is happening in both LBP1 and LBP2, then it may be the controller, try using a different one, or getting a Cheap Wired one from your local SuperStore (ours is WalMart)

well,its meant to do it

you tilt the controller down and he looks down you tilt it up and he looks up

the thing is when i play games i sit back in my chair and i hold it naturally,but naturally means it tilts up,because the face of the controller faces me

its only when you sit forward with your arms rested on your knees is the controller horizontal(therefor sackboy looking forward normally)..but i don't like playing that way

this isn't me,nor my chair but that is how i play..notice the controller facing him,well in LBP,that is officially 'tilted back' because it is not horizontal,so Sackboy looks up all the time

 

like i say i want to turn off the motion control..because its a dumb feature

If turn the controller on in the position you are comfortable in, Sackboy will look forward, as the Controller will see that position as Default.


At least, it should work like that...

I will try that and Tim_Syms suggestion of clicking the L3 buitton next time i am on

I know there is some unoffical controlers that don't have sixias bulit in them. So if you got spare £/$ try ebay for one.

I clicked down on the left stick and it worked fine
