Really! These Shockbombs on PSP are pretty good but they just blow objects away. that's it. I want to EXPLODE objects! Not blow them away. Really. We need to get PS3's bombs! Yeah... our should stay there but we need the ones we have on PS3! Really! These PS3 bombs can give more buys and fun to the PSP version! Just think about our sack get a bit burned due to explosives! Think about a level where a bomb fell on a helicopter, the heli falls and you've gotta find sacks! Really! I wanna make huge holes in blocks. See how it burned due to it. Really! COME ON!

I totally agree. Our PSP bombs aren't anywhere near as good as the PS3 bombs. On the PS3, bombs make sponge catch on fire. How cool. I hope that in the next update they make bombs explode stuff and not just blow it away and kill your sackboy. Also, on the PS3 the fire is a lot more realistic as well.

Agreed. Although I reckon that the bombs that actually blow things apart should stay along side it just in case.
Actually mnimmo1986 should look at this. Oh, that's right he's gone over to Modnation racers.
COME BACK, mnimmo1986!!!!!

Erm...
I don't know what to say ![]()

Like a lot of missing features (i.e. Multiplayer) this functionality of the bombs actually affecting the materials could have had to be left out due to the lack of processing power on the PSP.
Cambridge have wanted to keep the functionality as close as possible to the PS3 version as they can, so any differences that are lacking in the PSP version will no doubt have a very good reason for not being there, and the lack of power the PSP has in comparison is the main reason why most of the missing features are, well... missing.

mnimmo1986. Actually, PSP can do all this. If we can make such huge and hard levels, then why can't we have that simple feature? Really. PSP can actually do this. I hope multiplayer will also come. PSP can hold it too.

The PSP has to deal with the full physics system at the same time too, that's the main reason why the PSP would lose some power as it's calculating where things fall and how it reacts to other objects in the level. A lot of processing powere is just being used for that.
Not sure if you have seen how bad a bunch of bombs can easily make the PS3's drop frames, the same effect on a systems that has way less power... ![]()
Like I said, fetures were left out for a good reason, otherwise we would be seeing these in the game as Cambridge wanted it to work as close as it could to the PS3 version. If it were possible, they would have done it.

The fact of this debate is that Cambridge Studios didn't try hard enough and the PSP isn't powerful enough. Now is this argument settled.

That explains quite abit actually...
Although one feture I would like to see in LBP PSP is lighting. Although levels can still be given a good theme lighting would be awsome, and not just for giving a theme to a level.
Oh and mnimmo1986, thanks for coming back.![]()

It's not about the space available, we can have plenty of that as we can change that ourselves (if by that you mean the memory stick), it's the processing power that is needed.
