Hey all
I was just wondering if anyone knew of any logic I could use to do this:
I have a sackbot that emits a projectile from itself and flicks into act mode for about half a second to give the illusion of it being thrown. Is there any way I can make a different emitter and different Act chip activate when i run a different direction?
e.g. run left, throw a fireball left, run right, throw it right
thanks,
Steve

Will that only change when I press the other direction or will it be every time i press the stick?
e.g. if I was going left, stopped, and went left again would it change state?

I didn't mean to emit whenever I was running.
I meant to have it emit like when I press Circle it emits in the direction that was last pressed on the stick. I thought I had this working using 2 toggles but realised if i tapped a direction multiple times it just flicked between. A directional Splitter wired into a selector and AND gates seems to have done the trick!
Think I'll do a Dark Jak vs. Krimzon Guard survival level when I finish the costume off for the guards - a bad-***** dark eco warrior throwing bolts of plasma at guards surely beats paintinator and zombies!!
Thanks for helping me with the Directional Splitter Tommy! It'll provide useful in future no doubt, may be able to re-jig my weaponbot with it! use the pad for Bomb Gloves, Paintinator, Minions of Doom (Yes, from Ratchet and Clank!), and no eqiupment.

You could've also used the directional splitter to 2 1-count counters that reset each other, so when you press right, one of them is active and resets the other, and mapping a fireball to it will result in it using a specific emitter connected to that active counter. when you press left, it resets the active counter and then has a different active counter that you would connect to an emitter that emits to the left.
