Build lots of neat levels that are popular basically.
That will get you noticed by MM.
Also join somewhere like LBP Central might help as some of the mods are MM staff.
But really I think MM use the same beta testers from previous beta tests, then they might randomly send out a few hundred emails with a test code for a few others.
or have your name in the credits.... like PPp
