I was wondering if it would would be worth picking up and how much it would cost.
I have finished most of the campaign levels or whatever when i rented it from blockbuster, would there be any point in buying this edition?//

i've just picked up a copy of this from ebay last week and also downloaded the pirates kit.
i had my 40gb ps3 die about a month back so i don't have a save file with my 100% bubbles and aces which will be good to go through again before LBP2. i finished playing all the pirates levels and really enjoyed them. the water aspect adds another challenge to the game and can make for some interesting community levels.
Level 3
The GOTY edition was originally only released in the USA, it would play in your PS3 but the DLC had to be bought from the USA Pstore for it to work.
You could purchase & download the DLC from the Aus/NZ Pstore, but there was a basic mismatch and it wouldn't show up in your game when you went to open it.
Now a GOTY edition has been released in the UK, and since Aus/NZ use basically the same store as the UK any added DLC bought from the Aus/NZ store will work with this version.
Your basically getting levels commisioned by MM from the best level makers out there to inspire you.
Do a search for levels made by the following people, jump_button, Jackofcourse, Teenbonesy and poms as some of these peoples levels are on the GOTY edition.
