Ok, I need a little explanation here.

When you press up on the d-pad ingame, it comes up with your comm options.

What I want to know is what each icon means, because I have found conflicting sources as to what each one stands for, so can someone clear it up for me please?

(Im referring to the comms channel options. You know, the icons that show a a man, then a man with men beneath him etc.)

But surely I shouldn't be able to talk to the whole platoon if I'm only playing as a squad leader?

Are you sure it doesn't just mean chat with other leaders?

The one with 4 men on it lets you talk to the other squad leaders and platoon leader.

Something I was thinking about, but slightly unrelated, wouldn't it be good if who was talking got some sort of indicator on the map. And also, those preset commands from the left/right (can't remember) button on the d-pad should send out a ping on the mini map so you know where to go to.

And does the option you get when you're platoon leader let you talk to the squad leaders or everyone in your platoon?
