OK, so I'm chuffed with the DLC but if this is anything like the last one (a simple unlock) then I dpn't see any good reason why it wasn't released with the latest patch. Seems like zipper is trying to pad out the news so that we don't lose interest until (for the love of god let this be true) their 'big plan' to get people back in. To anyone who says "we need more maps, not guns", you must realise that maps are incredibly difficult to create on the scale of the game. One domination map is like 4 different levels as each platoon has a completely different environment to fight in. Zipper will have listened to our requests but they require lots of planning, making, programming and testing to get to a releasable stage. Eventually zipper will put the finishing touches to their masterpiece and the world will be their little CGI oyster.
Oh and you can kiss goodbye to dreams of a fourth faction. Tell you what'll make the game better, no new game modes and spreading the players out to make longer waits. Sure we get 3 new maps but that is three more to take ages making and for no one to play in.

I wonder what kind of prices this game is being sold for up and down the country as my local Gamestation has it priced at a ridiculous £44.99. This is not going to help sales especially for an online only game. Perhaps they don't think they will do so well with second hand sales because people won't trade in a multi player game so quickly as they would a game with single player that had been completed. Of the GAME and Gamestation stores I've been into in Cardiff they tend to have more of a leaning to the XBOX 360 anyway. Its a shame Sony have not marketed this game more, its being overshadowed by Modern Warfare 2 and Battlefield Bad Company 2. Its become somewhat of a tradition by Sony to under market their exclusive titles.

Would be nice if you could either multiple queue (choose which queues you want, some or all) or queue for 'first open slot'.
it would be harder to implement but I'm sure it could be done. Obviously the open slot thing would need to be handled properly to avoid queue jumping or getting stuck in queues, but it would be less frustrating I think.
Sorry, randomly off topic there.
Yeah, an(other) advertising push which highlights the new updates and maybe a revised price. Still see it way too expensive, even online.

The weapons they added wasn't adding...they just replaced the old gun with a same price weapon, but with better stats. Who in the right mind would use the 1st tier LMG when they have the minimally better version to choose.
It's not adding, it's boosting.

Not really a sniper myself but it's good that they're at least bringing us regular DLC, most other games don't.
We all want to see new maps and gadgets, but just think about the overall design implications. One map would take weeks of testing, balancing, fixing bugs etc, and if Zipper did one for one faction all the others would be "where's ours?!" so that would mean getting at least 3 ready at once. Rather a long job!
We may get lucky and get some more maps, you never know, but it won't be in a hurry!

I would like to see some proper urban map. Where shotguns and SMG's would be the tools of the trade. Like hanging on to some black van (if one was raven) like they do in protecting the presidents etc. Then dispatch from that and head into the houses. A proper bag and tag operation.
