I have done that before and my knife attack must have missed because it didn't kill the sniper, so as I was re-adjusting to try again, one of his team mates shot me from somewhere behind.

Nope, don't love it. I do on the other hand love when they see that RPG coming right at them and they don't have time to move and go "oh crap".

I mean nothing in mag gives you same satisfaction as sniperkill with a RPG from range....

i did that tonight. Attacking Valor Sabotage, and decided to sneak up to C before A&B were taken. Got up there and noticed a red dot near me. went up to top floor climbed the ladder and 'THWACK'... knifed a lonely sniper in the back. Then waited for him to come back and shot him from behind while crouching in the corner downstairs! He must have been furious!

i know MW2 talk is frowned upon here, but this is relevent so bare with me...

Ive never been too keen on sniping but i was sniping on the roof in Derailed on MW2. I was camping there for ages, but just before time-up i get a PSN message pop up in the top right corner. Subject said 'look up'. Next thing i know i'm watching myself get knifed on KillCam. Very cheeky, but funny.
