You will NEVER be contacted by Sony regarding joining any beta via a PSN message this is a SCAM, either contact a mod here about any messages you get or use the Grief Report funtion here http://uk.playstation.com/help-support/grief-reporting/ and never , never disclose your personal detail like account email and account password over the PSN as Sony will never ask for these details over a PSN message.

I'm posting this as I was contacted by someone who was 'Invited' to the beta over the PSN which is clearly a scam.

It's no suprise people try these scams, it's just a wonder people fall for it, I think we have to be more vigilant and tell people (like you did) about these guys and report them immediately with actions taken quickly

The strange thing is that everyone | know who has got the message is a member of these forums.

i got that from "JOIN_MAG"

So people don't answer to it, just report him.

Or just spam the guy for fun, if ur bored, go spam him a bit.

Most likely checking the forums and picking users names to sent to.
