Do:

When you see a horde of enemies coming while you are defending objective A/B chuck a poison grenade into the floor at the satellite interface and run to meet your red friends with guns blazing. Then when you are dead (or perhaps living) they will get nastygas and your respawn team can take them easily.

Don't: 

Don't throw poison grenades into paths where your team has to come for your aid. 

Ps. remember, poison gas is nasty stuff.

Do: Throw smoke grenades to block the sight of a bunkers turret.

Don't: Throw it at you feet or next to team mates so they can't see a bloody thing!

DO: Chuck a (Semtex) or Grenade through the Underground Base in Sub Base at the beggining of a match!

The amount of times I have been killed by random explosions. Unbelievable. The amount of times I have been killed by a friendly grenade. Also extremely high. Especially when there are several enemies in front of me - It's the grenade that kills me, not the enemy's bullets.

DO: Throw grenades at enemies
DON'T: Expect to kill them. Also, don't throw grenades at approaching enemies. They'll move out of the way, AND you won't have a gun to shoot back at them with.

DO: Throw grenades where your enemies are likely to run at the start of the match

DON'T: Throw grenades at the tree branch just in front of you while trying to hit the spot your enemies are likely to run.

And yes i have done that and killed a team mate in the process

Don't:

In haste throw a poison grenade into my bleeding feet when you are switching for medikit and trying to revive

This has happened to me sooo many times....while me being the bleeding one.

Do: Check what forum you're in

Don't: Post MW2 tips in MAGs forum.

Anywho.

Do:Throw a grenade in an enemy infested area before charging in.

Don't: Throw a poison gas grenade where you're platoon leader just poison gas barraged.

Do:

While planting the bomb, be sure to throw poison gas into corridors. It's up to you to weaken the enemies and take them out before they get to the bomb. 

Don't:

Do NOT throw the poison gas into the bomb area....unless you're the last one and know for a fact nooboody will come in time.
