I believe that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. When that opinion tends to contradict fact is where I have issues. That aside I can see that this game isn't for everyone, no game ever is (apart from solataire on the PC it seems).
Hopefully those willing to give the game a try will find out why the other people love it so much, if not then fair enough they can move on. It is a game that you need to play to a certain point until it clicks though, and when it does it just gets better.
I loved it from the start of beta and took a break in the last two stages and gotta say I am loving it all over again like a familiar old friend. I talked my friend into giving it a try after he read a few impressions (not press day reviews). He's a 5 year COD player and admitted that at first he didn't know what he was doing, had to get rid of that mindset. He told me that last night he finally 'got' it and is now starting to enjoy what it's all about and is looking forward to what lies ahead.
If people are lost int he game, it wouldn't hurt to try to help people along to understand an enjoy the game like we do. If they refuse to listen, to adapt, then this game clearly isn't for them, and likewise they don't belong in the game.
Give MAG a go, don't be afraid to ask, and if it's not your cup of tea, then go and grab a coffee instead.

MAG is a great game, the progression system, command structure and various elements all very good, but alot of people wont like the tactical nature of the game. if this is the case then i recommend you just stick to the kiddie shooter MW2 and leave MAG to the big boys, we wouldnt want you to get hurt. I bought it the other day on the off chance and i'm liking it a lot. Haven't had this much fun since RTCW on the pc. But if you don't like it you may as well trade it in and get something easy to play.

Mr. rancidpunk has a very good point.
Back in the day Warhawk had a wonderfully helpful and friendly community based, in part, on the opc. lots of banter and friendly rivalry.
Many friends and clans were made, i can think of 6 clans at least that still exist to this day (including DK)
I think the only way that this game will flourish is with teamwork, I can see no room for the Individualist in MAG.
So, as suggested, make friends, hell, make a clan and get out there and fight for each other. so much more rewarding.
