I had a thought, people enjoy the support class where you can fix and heal and I think it fits nicely into the game. When you get a good squad who heals each other it can be very rewarding and successful. I'd like to see an ammo pack as one of the upgrades too. If a squad member is low on ammo you can give maybe 2 mags to them and one grenade/ RPG. The person giving ammo will receive points for their work. It could come in handy when attacking as you often don't have an ammo refill nearby to stock up and if you go to find one you either get killed or your squad falls back.
It would help squads stick together too. And maybe you'd have to refill your ammo pack at a refill point so it doesn't get too overpowered. Any thoughts?

I think the ammo wallah would be a good idea.
Just imagine, you've managed to push the enemy back to their base and have hemmed them in so they have no way out. You spot one sneaking out and bring your gun up to shoot, and click no ammo, now you have to run all the way back to your crate, by which time all the enemy have broken out of their base and are now herding you back to yours.

That's what I was thinking. I played a game last night on Raven's acquisition map where we crushed the bunkers on the left platoon section within five minutes. After the fight we had very little ammo so all eight of us went to refill and got mown down by four guys on Raven at the ammo point. We'd left our front line so they came back to where our choppers hang out so we had to push back up to the car again ![]()
If we could have an ammo pack ability it would be good. Only to carry a few more clips and give them to our allies. Alternatively we could have a skill which lets you carry more ammo such as one more RPG, grenade or mine and 2 extra mags for your gun.

If you look through the computer voice commands with the D pad, you can call for back-up, medic one of them is also 'pick-up' for ammo. This would suggest there was once a time when ammo drops were considered but this was not carried through to the game.
Don't forget APC...
