I’ve been a MAG beta tester through all phases of testing but I have a couple of suggestion that may help the overall experience now it is fully released (sorry if these have been mentioned before)
a) To apply for Squad/Platoon leader & OIC MUST have comms.
I don’t know how easy this would be to apply to the game code but I feel it would give the best MAG gaming experience without restricting the number of player in the game (which everyone needs comms would have done) i.e if you don’t have/want to use comms you can’t apply for leadership roles but you can still play the game as a grunt. Far to many times I’ve played MAG the squad leader doesn’t communicate or even set specific objectives, this is counter productive and goes against everything MAG was/is supposed to be and doesn’t make the gaming experience very enjoyable. It shouldn’t be hit or miss that the squad leader should actually lead.
b) Before a Squad leader can start playing, an objective must be chosen
Pretty simple and carrying on from my previous point, I’ve been in battles where the squad leader hasn’t chosen any specific objectives for the rest of us to follow. This isn’t cool, especially if playing acquisition of domination.
Well that’s my 2 penny’s worth, please discuss. And if you are reading this Zipper, please try and do something about these issues, as they can be easily solved!

Would be nice. Several occasions me and my party have been ***** off by a squad leader or platoon leader without comms, so we can't go on platoon chat and communicate.

I have recently obtained Squad/Platoon leader, as you have said, you should know what you are doing
I dont have a clue on what should be done, so something which I think we should have is Suppression leader training, let players get the hang of being a leader, and when you go into a game which requires leadership, you are ready

Instead, I would propose a penalty system. If the squad leader doesn't set any frago's all game (which most seem not to) then they will be stopped from being able to lead for next 5 games or so. Hopefully this will teach them that being a leader isn't just about glory, it's about leading.

I agree chat does help
One game I played last week, right from the min in the lobby platton leader, was telling everyone what to do, and in the game, order was getting passed on, I was told to heal and revive, and we won the game
