Loadout Discussion

Well this is less saying what yours are and more discussing them in a more detailed way - How well they work, what you could do to them...

The one I currently use is:

Atac 2000

Suppressor

Foregrip

Reflex Sight

F97

Medical Kit

Motion Sensor

Smoke Grenade

Mesh Composite

I like this, you can go stealth but still don't struggle to go in more directly.

Discuss? :smileyvery-happy:

Re: Loadout Discussion

I like to use the AK-94 for my support guy. It's good enough to stop enemies in normal combat but leaves enough room for medical kit, repair kit and sight and fore grip.

Re: Loadout Discussion

Also I think it's better to say, for example, "Raven's second AR" or "Valor's last Machine Gun" They generally have similar stats and not many of us are so educated in weapon names!

That sounds pretty solid, Zeelack. A good gun will win most fights for you. Personally I would have replaced the repair kit with motion sensors + Acoustic Locator for attacking, and often even while defending that will be a better loadout.

Re: Loadout Discussion

[ Edited ]

I tend to switch between two main loadouts which are basically sniper based ( tier 3 rifle, variable optics, medi kit, frags & acoustic sensor) & direct assault( tier two rifle, reflex sights, foregrip, medi kit, frags & smoke)

Dependant on game type i have two versions of my direct asault, one with repair kit the other without.

If I get really peed off I resort to an LMG loadout....

Re: Loadout Discussion

I don't think people understood the topic perfectly - I didn't mean for us to just name our loadouts. I meant more for us to discuss loadouts and design better ones, not to just name our own loadouts.

@Miki your loadouts seem very solid too, I never was good at the long range sniping, but the acoustic locator is definitely a good addition there. Frags, however, not sure about, you may want to swap them for an upgraded pistol.

Re: Loadout Discussion

Thanks for the advice. I might get some of the electronics because I never got any. Could be good for when you need a UAV but the AA gun stops them. Go on a quick solo mission and get some sensors down so your team can see the enemies.

The AK-94 is the second SVER assault rifle. Guess the second assault rifles are a good compromise for any faction is you want a few gadgets to play with.

If you're a sniper it's essential that you have an automatic pistol as your backup weapon. Not sure if Raven and Valour have them though. If you have a good backup weapon you can find new sniper spots and push forward with the rest of your squad and remain well protected in case of close enemies.

Re: Loadout Discussion

Yes, they do. I used a loadout of a Sniper Rifle and a Machine Pistol and they're great for taking out enemy snipers, firing off some headshots from their places, then moving on. Heck, that pistol even let me go in close range with it. Not that many points though, you'll have to drop your medical kit for the motion sensor if you wanna do it right.
