Zipper are just about to release Socom 4 so I can see them being focused on that for the time being.

To be honest though I doubt they have even finished with MAG yet.

Yeah it maybe a little early for MAG 2 talk just yet. I hope they have started work on it in some form though. After Socom got announced they were keen to point out that they have 2 teams at Zipper. A Socom team and a MAG team.

Not sure what I'd expect of a sequel though, as game modes Interdiction and Escalation just didn't really do it for me. Loved Acquisition and Domination though. I would be wary if they were to just keep these modes and maybe add another one or two with new maps.

If they did something more with the shadow war to make it mean a little more then that would certainly get me hyped up for a sequel.

What would you folks like to see in a sequel?

zipper employee confirmed in an interview that at this time there are no plans to create a MAG2 and that it is not in production.

If thats the case then I hope someone like EA would just buy the rights to it and make it cus lord knows a heck of a lot of people want it

honestly they can come out with as many socoms as they want its useless socom didnt do as well as mag did for a reason because that 3rd person shooter was HORRIBLE people want mag because mag is the best shooting game hands down......when they make a mag 2 ZIPPER doesnt need to play it an THEY SHOULD MAKE THE FACTION MORE BALANCED so that way people continue to play thats y so many people quit the playing the 1st mag
