So!
All you lot who were in the closed beta, we need your help.
We want to know what the do's and dont's of leadership are! With all the newbies coming to the game as of today, it's in your best interests to ensure the people who may one day lead you are well prepared.
What I want from each of you is 1 do, and 1 dont of leading a squad, platoon or even a company on MAG. And, seeing as I was in the closed beta and once led a company into a glorious victory (whilst sat in a bunker cowering like a fool), I'll start!
DO: Get over the mic and issue orders dammit!
DONT: Drop airstrikes on your squad leader's heads. They dont like that. Trust me.
If you didn't take part in the closed beta, you can still help out. Ask a question in here about MAG and a beta trial member will do their best to help. If they dont, I'll set MojoSwift onto them. Rawr.
See you on the battlefield!

DO listen and work together
DON'T order air strikes and team kill ¬¬
Dont Shout at team mates it will come too NO good
You should find, and sticky, both of the "noob guide" threads, they were pretty useful
Do: Pay attention to your objectives
Don't: Think you're Rambo and run off on your own, it's annoying and you'll get next to no points

lol unfortunately that's what's gonna happen, it's fun listening to people start getting angry because of it
How are the leaders going to be sorted considering you had to get to lvl 15 (if I remember corectly) to be a squad leader anyway?
I *think* the stats have been reset - so prepare for a rank-a-thon!
In otherwords, I think we'll be leaderless until a few people rank up.
And no being hideously immature with the word rank, I can hear malice developing from 500 miles away you know...

Excuse the silly question, but if my friends choose a different PMC to myself, does that mean I cannot play in their team?

You can't play with them if they're on a different team but it's always good to hunt down a friend if you get the chance to play against them
Lolz on the rank-athon

Well as this will be my first step into MAG I'll be happy being a grunt and following orders until i can understand how the game works.
For every rule there are exceptions.. I know there are excellent lone wolfs in this game, then there are amazing leaders, gunners and support personel.
So it's not allways a point of sticking together, but as a general rule: DO
- Follow the leader
- Listen what he has to say.
- If you have good ideas, good leader will listen and take them into account.
- Heal your Teammates (and others on same side)
Don'ts:
- Brag about your own superior skills (especially if you don't have them)
- Jam the communication with full time chatter
- Yell loudly to Mic when you are near enemies (they can hear you)
- Kill frendlies (ok, accidents do happen, but that's different)
DO: Provide pep talks if needed, and urge people on
DON'T: Act like your better than everyone else, your just the same, just in a position of power
