MAG Developer Q&A

Hey Folks,

 

We've noticed a massive plethora of questions and queries being posted in the forum, so we've managed to secure a quick Q&A with the chaps from Zipper.

 

If you've got a burning question you'd like to be answered, post it here! Make sure it's MAG related please.

 

We'll compile the best questions from across the EU PlayStation Community and get them answered. We'll post the results right here.

 

We're on a tight schedule, so I'll need you to post your questions before Monday 8th March.

We know eventually that included DLC will be new maps but what else can we expect in terms of DLC, e.g New game modes, new weapons, new gear, new attires.

First of all the game is really realy great.  In my opinion it really brings something fresh and new to the genre.

 

What I'd like to know is how do you plan on making sure that MAG doesn't become a game with only a Hardcore following compared to the established brands like Call of Duty and Battlefield?

How hard was it to make servers which are capable of handling 256 players, without too much lag?

I like the dystopian future that the game inhabits, I would like more clues dotted around in any DLC to "flesh out" the game world, i.e posters on walls, propaganda and clues to  civilian life in the darkness of the Shadow war.

 

 

 

Just because a game does not have a "story mode" does not mean that there cannot be a story.

When are you going to implement a solution for us to launch into games in multiple squads??.... we have a large clan and 8 players in a group is a serious limitation for us.

What are they going to do in the future to suppport this game. I've seen player numbers fall a little bit over the last couple of weeks, so what are Zipper going to do to increase these numbers.

Zipper great game BTW a big thumbs up 5 ***** from me couple though

 

  • the 1st question is are we getting a stats page and if so will it be like the killzone stats page.
  • The 2nd question is are we going to get a clan battle fuction.
