I recently bought MAG, but when i put it on there was video but no sound, so i took it back and exchanged it for another copy. But it does exactly the same thing, although when i go to saved game data, the audio for the game stored there plays. Now ive tried all my other games and theres no problem at all,  my sound is setup fine through surround sound via optical cable. If anyone can help with this i would really appreciate it, otherwise it looks like im gonna have to get my money back.

You've tried all the obvious like changing DTS and Dolby making sure 5.1 is checked in the PS3 sound options etc etc? Can you try another lead? Its definitely your setup as the second disc proved that but its very strange as to why its just this game tho

Yeah i have 5.1 checked in the setup, its just really really strange as it doesnt happen with any other game. I cant think of anything else to do.

What cable do you use for audio? hdmi? optical? or the default AV?

Optical lead for audio HDMI for viedo. Works fine on every other game the way i ahve it setup.
