if you want to use a keyboard and mouse the closest solution that i can find for you is a product called "frag FX pro" it has a wii style numb-chuck for right hand and gaming mouse for left hand

I'm what I would call a hybrid gamer, I play both PC and Console and I don't throw crap on either communities.
Yes I prefer keyboard + mouse because it's giving me better control of my character and it also boosts the "realism" level a bit imo.
I prefer a joypad when I want to lean back into my comfortable sofa and don't care if it'll cripple my aiming/whatever and just have a good time.
I'd like to see USB keyboard/mouse support for this awesome game, it's not like it'll cost me or anyone else in here a fortune to get any of those, and most of you probably already have a USB keyboard/mouse connected to your PC right now...
It's not about PC or Console here, it's just a matter of preference.
No it's more than another type of controller, a mouse would give a huge advantage to the user compared to another type of gamepad. I was a PC only gamer for 10 years and pretty much got bored of using a mouse towards the end, it's just too easy and takes no effort.
FragFX/Fragnstein both suck btw.. they're far from what using a mouse on a PC is like and unless you totally suck you will be just as good with the dualshock 3, they don't give a huge advantage like a real mouse would, XIM gets pretty close tho.
No thanks to KB&M, use a PC if you prefer the easy point and click.

There is no argument for not having keyboard & mouse support, it wouldn't be expensive to do a wireless keypad which had the WASD configuration on it & a wireless mouse that you could use wherever your bloody sitting, no need for a desk !
Those who say it's an unfair advantage for those who haven't got one, it's your preference, if you prefer to play with a joypad then you play with one, but if your a dedicated FPS gamer then you'll always get a keyboard & mouse, it's simply a better control method than a joypad.
It's like telling Polyphony Digital to not support the range of steering wheel's that are available in GT5 because playing with a steering wheel gives players an advantage !

I'm not sure if keyboard mouse players have 1 up ds3 players I did initially but a few keyboard mouse players have told me that a DS3 has better control and accuracy apparently. But I did see a few players using Frag FX, they did'nt seem to play any better than a controller, so I don't know.
But if it keyboard mouse players play significantly better then it's unfair.
I think it should be allowed. I'll try it out, i use to play cs and q3a heavy, I'll something like keyboard on lap mouse on book on chair arm, or playing on the floor...

Wow anlot of PC hate here. I understand the advantage at hand using the keyboard and mouse, but to get your point across you don't need to ***** all PC gamers off to high heavens.
Im a PC gamer and I know for a fact the amount of maturity and high end competition is far superior to the console gamers. I constantly play with a group of about 50 people on TF2 (my main FPS because its pretty much the most unique and quite easily the most team based). This game requires alot of mature commincation and skill to play.
The comment about "Go play COD" was quite funny. Most PC gamers wouldn't touch that game with a barge pole because its a rubbish console port. Annoyingly CoD was once made the PC and actually good....
No keyboard and mouse shouldn't be supported because an engagement should come down to skill, and not a matter of what people have in their hand. If it was supported, I'd crush most controller players because my Mouse and keyboard combo cost me 100 quid. Thats alot of DPI with a quick flick ![]()
