only just noticed this but why do u get punished with alaod of teamkills when u manage to plant the bomb ?????
I know that u have platoon members in there as it explodes, and they can do nothing but die i suppose.
but come-on, i planted and defended with my team, when it exploded, i got -80xp for 16 teamkills, only got 15xp or something for planting the thing.
and yes winning did gain me xp, but not what im talking about, now after doing this 3-4 times last night i have something like 75 TK's on my stats.
I havent noticed 1 but is there a countdown timer for the explosion anywhere ????

It used to be you could stand right next to it and no one would get harmed. Especially on SVER's map, where the actual C objective sits inside a train car, there's so little room around it and it's so easy for an enemy to sneak past amidst all the comotion and defuse it (it doesn't take that long to do), that you really need to stay there and see it through.
On Valor and Raven's map there's a bit more lee-way, but the issue still remains. It's not just the C objective on Sabotage, though, setting charges on anything on Acquisition and Domination will net you the same result. It seems they expanded the blast radius for objectives that are blown up, so they are now a lot more deadly.
Can't really see why they'd do this. For Acquisition and Domination, people will just respawn and get back to action. On Sabotage, the game is over when you blow C, so what's the point in making those explosions deadlier? Is it to make it so they're more realistic?
Personally, I don't care that much that you now get killed a lot easier when standing anywhere near something that's about to go BOOM. I do agree, however, that those deaths should be presented more as a "suicide" kind of thing -- especially for those on the attacking team. If you can't see that an objective (be it C on Sabotage, or a bunker, an anti-air, a mortar batery, etc. on Domination and Acquisition) is about to blow and still choose to stick close to it -- and I can understand the motivation if you're trying to prevent the defending team from defusing the charges -- then it's your fault that you got killed.
Kinda like it used to be really easy for you to get killed when repairing something, if you were standing too close to it when it got repaired -- where it'd show you basically killed yourself -- it should count it as a self-induced death. Maybe not a suicide per se, it's not quite the same as getting killed by your own grenade, but nevertheless a kind of "you got no one else to blame but yourself". The only possible exception being the actual person who planted the charges -- if you planted the charges and then stuck around for whatever reason and ended up killed, then you did commit a type of suicide.

One problem with these C4 chrges is that you can´t allways hear/see that they are active. Sometimes there is no audible or visual marking, sometimes the Disarming-progress bag gets stuck on screen etc.. So it´s hard t be sure if and especially when something is going to blow up.
This timing question is extremely critical on sabotage-C targets since one has to keep them well covered right untill the end and there´s no timer to tell when it'll blow.

Oh yes, the repair thing.. I remember someone saying to me "your going to get killed if you stay that close.." 5 seconds later I was dead lol.
But yeah it should go down as a sui :-)
that was me that said that ^_^
on a squad of people that I don't know I usually tell people to get away from bombs that are set on objectives in aquisition, needless to say they don't listen, but they always die nonetheless. They listen to me after
. I think they need to put a "clear the area" command on the requests that will broadcast to anyone close to you.
