I bought the character slot b twice and the escalation map pack also and neither is working. I have installed the map pack approx 5x on 2 different consoles. ***** do I do short of taking a knife to one of the throats of zippers staff. I have been charged for the last 3 months for the char slot b as well but have been unable to use it. I can provide screenshots as well for proof, but all I want to know is how the f*ck do I get what I f*cken paid for?!  BTW any raven clans seeing this add me

Go and grab the case for your game, check the spine, and let us know what code you see there. It should be four letters and (I think) 6 numbers.

If the third letter of the code isn't an E, then you have either the American or Asian version of the game, which means you will have to get either the American or Asian version of the DLC in order for it to work.

If the third letter is an E, then we'll just have to try and figure out what's wrong.

I'm from NZ too. Yes, you'll need to purchase all the DLC (and character slots) for your US version of the game from the US Store.

Did you buy the game from a store? If so, maybe you could take it back and exchange it for a version with an E in the code.

For the record, the code on my copy of MAG is BCES 00558.

ohk nice, im down in chch myself and got it from trademe for half price. Is there any way to get my money back fromthis store or will I have to fork out again for the DLC?

You could always give Sony support a call and talk to them about it. It wouldn't hurt to see if they can do anything. It is a toll call to Auckland, however, so keep that expense in mind. You can find the number in the back of any game with an E as the third letter of the code (in case all your games are imports, it is 09 415 2447).
