if i was comparing this to MW2 i would say this kicks MW2 A** because 1 MW2 is arcaday and you can win a match without team work but MAG you need teamwork and MAG is actually showing you what its like in a real war if the ever was a real PMC war like look only Squad leaders platoon leader n company leaders call airstrikes like in real life you have to work as a team like in real life.

COD you run around like a headless horse man just shooting everything and anything andcan win by urself there not really much teamwork in it and every1(most ppl) uses rockets noob tubes

in MAG you can't win by yourself and also the game play and movements and controls are fine i like it its unique and also it great into helping you make online friends with ppl in your PMC not like cod ppl just shout at each other or it has kids screaming jiberec well how ever you spell it lol

MAG in my opinon is better then COD by a milestone

I like the idea of the game to be fair, more tactical, and you can't just go in gung ho as I found out yesterday, I'm happy to give it a try, and even though I agree, it seems a bit clunky and slow pace (by that I mean the controlling of your character) it can only get better. Hell I hated FPS games, but quite enjoy them now.

Probably the only thing I dont like about it, the graphics, but thats cause I am used to MW2, so they will grow on me and I'll get used to it. In my opinion, sacrifices have had to be made to the graphics in order to enable 256 guys going round wanting to kill each other

Been playing the Open Beta quite a lot lately and I have to say this: It's the best online FPS game I've ever played. The graphics are amazing, the gameplay is fun, teamplay works excellently, the stat tracking is brilliant, heck the whole game is EPIC!

I had the Closed Beta and didn't think much of it. There were bad framerates, extremely long loading times and too many bugs to make it enjoyable. However, all has been fixed now and the game loads almost instantly. I'll be buying MAG ASAP and it will most likely be online FPS game I will play the most.

I think this game should be compared more to Battlefield than COD. That said the graphics in COD aren't very good either. Very low textures compared to other online FPS.

This game is not for those who wish to do everything on their own. You will get fewer points and generally end up running further. Try mixing up the classes a bit and find a class you prefer whilst experimenting with your tactics. 

Obviously this game is not for everyone but just because it isn't like your favourite FPS, doesn't mean it needs to change

Bottomline, it's nothing like CoD.

If anything it's more like Joint Operations on the PC. That was 256 players and maps that were so big you had to use a chopper on one level as the quickest way between 8 islands.

This is the first FPS that I feel I can really get into. I played Killzone 2 quite a bit when it came out, but got bored when it turned into a frag-fest and the missions went out the window. It's taking me a while to get my levels up, but I'm sticking with it because I really liked Domination when I played the last BETA, but I'm more used to a PC's mouse controls than a pad. I played CoD 4 a bit although it never really caught my attention for more than 10 mins at a time.

Although "this game sucks" seems to be the cry coming from all the CoD players at the moment, but you know what they say, "people always destroy what they fear the most".

Funny you should say that, I'm trading MW2 in when I get MAG. To be frank I've never been as frustrated playing a video game ever in my life as I have been with MW2, yes, I've played plenty of Ninja Gaiden games.

MW2 is mountain dew extreme cartoon bullcrap. Theres frikkin jet planes shooting you in the rear 24/7, you die half the time within 3 seconds of spawning, the shotguns have more range than sniper rifles, regenerating health is a nuisance, the Scar-H is superior to every other gun in the game, you can knife an enemy from across a room, I could go on and on and on.

Bottom line is, MAG is fun, MW2 has me yelling at my dog gamn monitor while I play, the last 5 times I tried playing that game, I played half a round and rage quitted. I dont think anyone ever actually killed me in that game by actually shooting at me with a gun. Just too much cartoon bullcrap.

Gameplay is king, MW2 doesn't have state of the art graphics but it still plays a lot better than this slow slug of a game.

Its just not a polished experience. Maybe I'll be corrected (which I hope I will be) when the full game comes out but we'll see...

There's a tons of FPS games MUCH better than Modern Warfare 2. I hate to say it, but even COD 4 is better than Modern Warfare 2 and I've come to despise the COD series.
