I think you would all agree there is a lot of excitement around MAG since we all heard
about the news of this title. I still remember my face when a saw the first trailer
If you are like me and have been keeping up with the Developer Diaries on the PlayStation.Blog
I like the fact you can play the game as you wish, go all guns blazing or be tactical. I do
love the tactical aspect of the game, assigning your squads to complete certain objectives,
the ranking up system, the emphasis on working as a team, and last but not least 256 players.
So what is it about MAG that makes you want it so badly? Is it because of the big
maps? Is it the amount of people you can play against?

For me it's the sheer size of the game and the set up of the platoons with having smaller 8 man squads part of a bigger picture.
What you do has an impact on the overall picture 'The Shaddow War' - so no game is 'just a game' - everything you do has an impact which is something that has never been done on a console before.
SOCOM Vets will love it too because of the tactical element.
On paper this game shouldn't be possible on a console - 256 players FTW!!!!
Bring it.

I don't know... everything!!
Where to start!?!? The size of the game... 256 players on the battlefield (eventough you probably wont see most of them!)... I love the BF series which this is sort of like... lots of players on a big map fighting over objectives/points on the map... but this is even bigger then even BF2... not just because you can have more players, but because of the shadow war.... its like a game of risk.
There's also the point that you know that what ever your squad does it will have some sort of impact on the overall game and your not just there trying to win a map and just rank up because if you win then your team gets rewarded.
Last but not least there is the fact that its not linear in anyway... from the videos and interview you can go about your tasks however you like... you don't have to do the same thing over and over again.
I think that sort of covers it for me!
