I wonder how long the Confrontation servers will be maintained for?

Can't see it lasting long.

Sony have to give a 90 day warning before they shut down the online of their games I believe. So unless they want a lawsuit you still have 90 days left to play online, plus however long until they announce it

I reckon you have a while yet. Sony will likely treat them the same as all others, so long as there's users it'll be open

Confrontation is Slant Six's game so should be round for a while yet hopefully

Agree with what Nerdlegend said. SOCOM 4 was the biggest mistake since http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FO725Hbzfls 

Think the writing was on the wall after that. Never seen a game get so much negativity aimed at it. Zipper marginalised virtually the entire SOCOM fan base to make a game that would appeal to more people. Think SOCOM 4 has to be the biggest flop on the PS3. 

Never bought MAG, always wanted it but never got round to getting it, wish I'd bought it

It makes you think Media Molucule saying they want to move on from LBP and go into something different, and then Zipper biting the bullet.

Probally wishful thinking, user generated custom maps anyone?

It was fun in the BETA...
And great when the game released..

But like a lot of games it got the slaughter merchants who had/have no concept of team play just wanted the trophys & platinum at the end & made it a misery for all concerned!!!

Just played today & the knife still kills to far away...

Sniper rifle does'nt kill with one shot unless its a head shot!!!!

Its not the game it was I would'nt even buy this if it was bargain bin now

MAG was sort of OK, nice idea poorly executed. Maybe it was just too much too soon, now if they waited for the next gen then this game would of been fantastic.

Was'nt enough marketing with MAG!!!!!

CoD & the such have huge build ups to release dates MAG nothing!!!! the only thing I saw in a games shop was an A4 poster advert which was on a board with 3 other adverts for games very poorly marketed by Sony as it was a exclusive......

The ideas behind it were great I loved that only commanders could bring in heavy weapons fire like the mortars & air strikes & not every tom ***** & harry in other games who get a good chain of kills...
