EN Community Peace Walker Meet-up thread

Greetings new Militaires San Frontieres recruits!

Now that Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker has officially been released in Europe, many nomads will find themselves scouring the Earth for another lost soul only to find that everybody else is playing FarmVille on their iPhones or something equally as grueling. :smileysad:

Well fear not, as AdHoc Party has come crashing down like an intermediate-range ballistic missile waiting to unite everybody under a cloud of nuclear fallout! (okay that was probably a bad metaphor :Scared:)

Theatrics aside, you can now use AdHoc Party to play Peace Walker online with a little help from big sibling PS3 who will tunnel the Ad-Hoc signal so that it's transmitted over the magics of the Internet. So if you ever need help in taking down a giant singing mech or you just fancy proving that your PMC recruits are best, then feel free to post in this thread where you are sure to find other like-minded players.

Also take note that the official EN Community Lobby is:

World J

Lobby 50

, so you'll obviously get a better response if you organise your games in here.

Watch this space for details on the weekly fun night that will start next week. Check it out if you fancy co-operative team play and competitive matches.

Re: EN Community Peace Walker Meet-up thread

All being well I should be able to play the PSP via Ad Hoc Party soon. But I think I'll be seeing how much I can do alone on the game before wanting to pair up with people. :smileyhappy:

Nice to see you being organised as usual Surreal :smileyhappy:

To start things off, I was wondering if any other lucky people fancy playing a few games this afternoon?

I wouldn't mind joining if that's ok (and if EU games can play with US games but I don't see why they couldn't)?

Re: EN Community Peace Walker Meet-up thread

I feel your pain MB. You work for Sony, can't you ring Howard Stringer and tell him to release Peace Walker now?

And while you're at it, maybe you could send Hideo Kojima a text and tell him to do a special edition for MGS4, I was really upset with how that teaser site turned out.

Re: EN Community Peace Walker Meet-up thread

Nice! I've tried the demo in co-op a couple of times and it works so smoothly. I'm definitely up for some community meet-ups.

I won't really have time to play online until Monday night though, so if anyone fancies partying up Monday around 9pm then I'll be free :smileyhappy:

No, I really cant. I even emailed Mike Kebby campaigning to him to make a voucer code especially for me. He refused.
