Re: Farewell, my sweet prince.

...and that day we all started to get bored of the GG map, then they gave us MM and we were all back on it again...

Re: Farewell, my sweet prince.

It feels so ironic when you consider that MM was probably the worst map in the game.

Re: Farewell, my sweet prince.

It would be cool if they released some final figures and stats.

Surely MM was the most played map right? XD

Re: Farewell, my sweet prince.

I liked MM because it was 'the place from the the MGS4 gameplay trailer' at that time. It was the only map that let us know what MGS4, act 1 would look like.
And I liked shooting people who hid behind that burned out car while I was in the alley.

Re: Farewell, my sweet prince.

I actually thought MM was a good map, one of my favourites of the originals. Yeah I think you're right SNS, I seem to remember MM being so overplayed.

Re: Farewell, my sweet prince.

I liked Silo Sunset because I had an edge for a few days over the people who didn't play the PSP games where it came from. lol

Re: Farewell, my sweet prince.

I'm really annoyed I never got a chance to play this again. One of my mates borrowed it a while ago and was on Holiday this week, he came back two days ago but I didn't get time to get it from him. Even if I did my Internet went down yesterday heh.

Still, I always enjoyed playing it, definitely my favourite online game ever. Hopefully, it won't be too long before we get another online Metal Gear.

Re: Farewell, my sweet prince.

I REALLY want to play this now it's gone. Watching MGO Youtube videos. It really was unique compared to other online games.

Re: Farewell, my sweet prince.

MM was all right, probably the map I did best on tbh.

Well put Muz. MGO I salute you, I did think of posting quite a speech myself, but Muz summed it up all too well for me really, the memories of the early days will always stand out the most and will remain with me for a long time. For me, it was and probably always will be, the greatest competitive game, nothing quite offers the same experience, regardless of the lag, glitchers, naysayers and all the other issues, including the dreaded Konami/Game ID's, what a faff.

Farewell MGO, I salute thee. * I can't find an image of my guy saluting, know I've got one somewhere *
