Not sure weathet to believe this but is Metal Gear Solid 4 really getting a trophy patch?

I mean I thought this game was dead ( in the tearms of updates) considering they only just shut the servers down. The game is 4 years old now as well. Am not sure if I believe it since it was not to long ago there was all news about trophys coming when a picture of the platinum box said it had tropies witch turned out to be false.

It's on their facebook page that a new version of the game will have trophy support. It's on other sites that I have seen current owners can patch their version though.
I bet it's some anniversary thing, but because it's counts as a new game they have to have trophies. It's not a gift to us or anything.
