Hi I want to know if MGO is still popular in UK/Europe. I'm asking this as I only played a little of MGO when it first came out and had not bought any of the expansion packs. I noticed once the expansion packs came out it was more and more difficult to find a game. Taking most times 10mins+ to find a game. I want to know that if I do spend £10 on the MEME, SCENE, GENE pack that there is still a thriving community where I would be able playand enjoy a game of MGO quickly and at any time not just the Metal Gear Mondays?

It is still fairly popular, particularly around survival hours, but the problem you're likely to encounter is finding decent people to play with. XD

If you can find a group of people who you enjoy playing with then Metal Gear Online can be a good investment. You'll probably want to start off by playing without the expansions in case you don't end up liking the game, though if you do decide on getting them then you'll find them to be a pretty good deal as they unlock new maps and allow you to play as characters like Meryl and Raiden.

whats survival hours?

I know its on Wednesday-Thursday and Saturday, but I can't quite remember the times (think its 6pm-10pm BST).

You also need expansion packs for most of the servers, though I think one of them may be open to everyone. Apologies if that one gets targetted by padders though.

Survival is a mode that came with Gene I think... First expansion.

Yeah id play the game normally before you buy em. People are way better than when it 1st came out. You cant survive half a second in front of a pro if you dont know the game, literally.
