Well I'll love playing the game again with the old control layout. ^_^
I suppose if anything, they could have given us the choice to move things around.

Edit: Or preset choices, one named Old Layout and the other Modern Layout.

If I'm honest I thought that would be a given. Apparently not.

Re: Kojima Remembers MGS1

Sorry to go off topic but I was thinking the same about the Devil May Cry HD collection, would it be TOO much to ask that they let us change the buttons so that 1, will be like 2, 3 and 4 the new controls that they decided to keep.

Screw the remake and give us a game where you play as Ocelot.

Re: Kojima Remembers MGS1

Personally, graphics are the least important part of a game for me, followed by trophies and in game collectibles. It wont come as a surprise to find out that I've never actually bought one of these HD collections, I'm happy revisiting older games on my PS2 and I think it says a lot that theres more call for HD remakes than new IPs. Would you rather MGS5 or a revamped, remastered MGS1?

Surely new control mappings would be a given!? Out of interest are any of the bugs ironed out or fixed in these titles? (god of war 2 springing immediately to mind)

Re: Kojima Remembers MGS1

I'm interested to see if there's a few glitches that are still in MGS2 and MGS3 haha.

Re: Kojima Remembers MGS1

I'm not the glitching type (i.e. glitching to your own advantage), I meant glitches like falling through the floor, half the level not loading etc etc. I don't recall anything in MGS2 and 3 though.

Re: Kojima Remembers MGS1

Oh no not at all and glitching online is a definite no no.

I remember a few glitches on both which I'm sure I'll try out at some point haha...

Also: Kojima Remembers MGS4

“One of the things I wanted to do was not just show pretty graphics, but represent things that you normally can’t see. So for example, if you burn something and the chemicals affect other things, or if water spills on the grass then at some point maybe a flower would grow and pop out of it. Things that normally haven’t been shown before in a game.”
