Kojima Speaks About MGS5

Link

"When asked about the sequel to MGS 4 the series’ creator replied “I think we’ll probably have to make it at some point."

Click the link to read the rest of it!

Although I'm sure it's not the whole interview with him surely, so make sure to get OPM to hear the rest.

Re: Kojima Speaks About MGS5

I thought I'd shove this here too, Kojima speaks about Rising.

"If there’s something I feel crosses a line and goes against everything Metal Gear is, then I’ll say something."

Re: Kojima Speaks About MGS5

Too bad he didn't say something when they turned MGS4 into a generic shooter :smileytongue:

Re: Kojima Speaks About MGS5

Haha. :smileytongue:

Also here's another article with Kojima talking more on Rising and Raiden.

“If somebody thinks ‘I love Snake’ and just really wants traditional stealth gameplay and that experience, then it may be hard to get into Rising.”

At this rate we'll have read the whole interview that's going to appear in the magazine.

Re: Kojima Speaks About MGS5

Another article with Kojima speaking about the series and wanting to end it.

"I wanted to end it at every step along the way.”

Re: Kojima Speaks About MGS5

Kojima wrote:

“In Guns Of The Patriots he was supposed to die” he continues but admits he was brought around. “Everyone on the staff really wanted to keep him alive, so I caved a little."

Personally, I would have preferred it had he died. But the way MGS4 ended leaves so little scope for a sequel (in plot terms) it seems stupid to have kept snake alive for the singular purpose of such a sequel anyway.

Unless of course I'm reading it wrong and the staff just wanted a happy ending???

Re: Kojima Speaks About MGS5

I should get this topic's name changed to Kojima's OPM Interview or something haha...

Anyway here's an article with Kojima talking a little about Project Ogre.

"It’s a little bit different to what I’ve done up until now."

Re: Kojima Speaks About MGS5

correct, im not sure MGS will be the same without snake. iv had all the MGS series and loved evey title, one without snake is going to be difficult to get into. i love what MGS is, a sneaking mission, just hope they dont come away from what is traditionally MGS, it may ruin the title big time
