I have been intending to buy the MGS HD Collection and with MGS4 trophies inbound this is a perfect time to play through all the games.

Having just acquired a PS Vita I now have the dilemma of which platform to get this for. I realise that the Vita version omits Peace Walker which is a disadvantage but it is available as a PSP title to download.

Can anyone give their recommendation on which is the best buy?

There's no real advantage or disadvantage to getting the game on either system as it's essentially a multi-platform game.

I have them on both systems and find the transfarring feature to be pretty cool, but it really depends on whether you'd prefer to play it on a big screen or play it in smaller chunks when you have the time

Buy the PS3 version you don't get Peace Walker with the Vita version.

Thanks for the replies guys.

One thing I did read in the PS magazine was that some of the touch controls on the Vita version are a little unreliable and can cause the wrong actions, is this a fair description and can you choose to use buttons instead of touch for these actions?
