Tonight I couldn't sleep and couldn't be arsed playing anything so I went on Gametrailers and ended up spending the last 2 hours or so re-watching that whole MGS Retrospective for the first time since it was originally out and God damnit it's realy got me in the mood for playing MGS2 + 3 specifically.

They're sitting here next to my PS2 teasing me because I do realy wanna play them again right now however I know that if I just wait untill this HD collection it's gonna be much better and much more satisfying but then why can't I just let myself play them on ye olde PS2? It realy is quite shameful and I'm not just saying that as an excuse to use the following emoticon

Anyway, I'll wait, but If we do get the Substance version of MGS2 then there better not be any bloody trophies for the Skateboarding =p

Graphics never really bothered me, I still play PS1 games a fair bit and PS2 games moreso. Trophies I have to say I despise passionately, the only reason I'm gonna pick up this HD collection is to play Peace Walker with a second analog stick. Its been a while since I've played MGS though. I'm tempted to give them a playthrough now.

I really do hope they made crouch as X... If not, I'll be waiting for loads of people to complain about it. -_-

Hell, if they keep the other things as the directional buttons (so reload as we already know weapons and items have changed), I'll be waiting for the complaints to appear.

Basically, I hope they made use of the face buttons (Not sure if that's right... Well the shapes and X buttons. XD) now that aiming is the right analog stick.
