I don't mind ones that have them for chapters, because they usually pop up during a loading screen or the opening to a cutscene so they don't interrupt anything. But there's some that just pop up, and they have a name that doesn't really tell you what you won it for... and sometimes I give into my curiosity and then STOP THE GAME to go read what I just did.
Example, fighting on peacewalker I'd gotten spotted but I saw where from, so I shot a dart as fast as I could... Trophy jingle, "You're Pretty Good..."
: / Wot?
Turns out that I'd shot a guard "right in the center of his behind" with that panicy dart.
Yeah, I did that by accident as well. the guy I was shooting was far away and I knew that my aim was bad but then he suddenly let out a scream and fell to the floor when that trophy popped up.
When I read the description... ![]()

The scream XD yeah... This guy had seen me and then he turned to find cover and report me, lol. I was close enough to SEE him clutch his butt and pass out. Poor fella.

On more fun based games like Lego Harry Potter I don't mind them popping up all over the place but thats a totally different type of game and so is the mood of the story.
The way heavy rain deals with trophies is better. Bringing them up in a cutscene rather than destroy the immersion. I had a minor rant about them PS3 GD a while ago:

Half way through MGS2, just about to fight Vamp in Shell 2. Loving it so far forgot how good the story is, and how annoying all the random codec calls from the colonel/rose were!.
Thing the upgrade to HD has been done very well and I'm loving the graphics, its aged well. Not had any framerate issues at all, not even during the harrier fight which was bad in the PS2 version. Overall I'm impressed
.
I really shouldn't of of selected hard mode though, the way the controls/camera is took me some getting used to and I have died quite a few times and accidently triggered alot of alert phases. Looking forward to the Vamp fight challenge though, I always found it the hardest boss when I first played it.
Can't wait to play MGS3 again and fall in love with its epicness all over again.

Yeah I believe I saw one say "OPSM2" on one of them.
I was looking at them again today and you know they (or some) are definitely updated because one has a picture of the character models for Big Boss and The Boss that they've been advertising with for the 3DS version.
Like this I think:

Also on the same magazine it goes on about the game being in HD now or something too. =)
