Same when I went to get it, apart from the fact that there were no case on display or anything to suggest the game even existed. When I asked for a copy (had to ask for GT PSP) he said "we only ordered enough copies to cover the pre orders, and it will be 48 hours before we can put the uncollected pre orders onto the shelf." I told him I was willing to pay him money there and then, but he was having none of it.
Apparently Game are in a spot of bother at the moment, with their website not even having certain new releases listed. Won't be shopping there again.
On a separate note, went to get it from Gamestation. Had to ask again. The girl, through gritted teeth, said, "we've only got one copy, and thats only on PS3, sorry" I said I'd take it. She replied "You know its on PS3?"
"Uh, yes"
"The Xbox 360 verison is better"
"Uh, no it was designed for PS, besides, you can't get MGS4 on 360"
"Yeah but its just better on the 360"
"Goodbye!"

You should have asked if there was an adult around you could speak to.

Spotted this odd thread in GD and figured it should be merged in to this thread

When I bought my PSP Go they asked, Black or White.... I said black, they said 'the white ones are cool, I have one. So I said, nah I'd like a black one. They said ok, and walked off.. came back and handed me the box. I looked on the side before I got my wallet out. This is white... "oh they have a white one on the box". I look in the corner, the code said WHITE. I said, seriously this is a white one.
He reluctantly took it back and walked off again. I watched this time, he went into the room where he had a BIG pile of whites, and 3 blacks left. Then brought me the one I wanted.
To be fair, shopto are good. Consistently cheap, and a day early with new releases. I've never used them for anything thats not a preorder though, I'm gonna order a headset for PW though, so I'll soon find out.
Slightly more on topic, I've just got my hands on my limited edition HD collection (preordered it to the wrong place), the artbook is absolutely fantastic! Sadly, the T-shirt doesn't fit and it has been damaged in transit
