2 trophies away from plating MGS3(no kills/all kerotans), kinda disappointed that getting the FOX rank isn't a trophy as it would be proof of people obtaining it and make the platinum a worthy challenge, even just a trophy for completing the game on extreme would of been nice.
I couldn't be bothered plating MGS2 as I'm really not a fan of the VR missions so it'll just drag for me, whereas I can play MGS3 about 4-5 times and not get bored so getting the platinum is quite easy. After I've plat'd this I'll prob move on to Peace Walker but I've not decided if I'll plat it or not yet.
Overall I'm very impressed with them, not encountered any lag or framerate issues(not even with Volgins Lightning as lots have people have reported it to be quite bad, but I do have a 600Hz TV so maybe thats why i have no slow down). Graphics of the jungle in MGS3 still look fantastic.

Ive been massively enjoying playing Peace Walker, mainly thanks to Garry and Surreal. I no Ive said it before but its so fun and their helps been amazing, wouldnt of been able to do it without them.
Sorry for the other day KK when you tried to join the game, think my net was being odd that day, Garry was having trouble to connect several times too.

A bit more info on the board front:
The boards are ranked Fe, Cu, Ag, Au, Pt.
For those not too clued up on chemistry they are the chemical symbols for iron, copper, silver, gold and platinum respectively.
The Fe, Cu and Ag boards are availible from the 'story mode' bosses, up to Ag can be obtained from type 2s and Pt is only availible in the custom battles.
Note: Peace walker doesn't give you boards in the story.
Also, to whoever was struggling to get the armour off cocoon, you cant damage it, specifically, when you shoot the guns on the very top watch you dont hit the armour surrounds, its easily done, whether it be a stray bullet from MG fire or collateral from rockets.
EDIT: just read the bit about the ranks, I got them all in MGS4 across 13 playthroughs. As for not assigning trophies to the harder ranks, yeah I thought they would have done, I also thought 'view all cutscenes' would be a trophy.

Good posts regarding the AI Boards and Parts!
It's definitely helped finally clear it up once and for all for me haha, so thanks for that. (I've always been a little bit confused by how it all works.)
Anyway I haven't posted for about a week but I am enjoying Peace Walker a lot. =D
I haven't really took much notice of how it looks in HD and all that etc haha.
The only bit I know that has been improved from the PSP version is when Peace Walker jumps into the sea during the boss battle.
On the PSP the game would slow down from what I remember.

I actually think that Portable Ops was good, all apart from it's controls. Here's hoping that they were telling the truth when they said you can assign how you want the right stick to work on PSP games on Vita. I'd assign it left = square, right = circle etc.
Ah that sounds good! Hopefully then.
I'd play Portable Ops again, although if it were to be on Vita then I'd have to buy the game again haha...

I was thinking they might have certain ranks as trophies, definitely would be a challenge. (Such as Big Boss Rank!)
Regarding the bit I put in bold, that has to be done with MGS2 on the Plant if you were to get the "Get All Dog Tags" trophy.
Really that trophy is, "Get All The Special Items You Get Through Getting Dog Tags." (So the Wigs, Stealth and Bandana.)
Because with the Tanker you only need to go up to Normal difficulty.
Also to whoever said it, watch all cutscenes really should have been a trophy haha!
