Any mention of 3D support or peace walker style Co-op modes for the HD remastered games? It is a crying shame MGS1 wasn't included...

I don't think there is 3D and I think there is co-op for Peace Walker.

Random question on the HD Collection, for those who are getting it, what order will you play them in?

Will it be in order as listed? (MGS2, MGS3, PW) Maybe the games year setting order? (MGS3, PW, MGS2) Or perhaps you've never played one of them before like Peace Walker so you'll play that first?

I've been doing alot of thinking lately and I reckon if I've a wee bit spare cash then I'll definatly be picking it up despite previous reservations. I won't even get the full benefit because I'm not even on a HD TV but I haven't played through either 2 or 3 since a few weeks before MGS4 came out and I may aswell make it a specialish experience the next time I do because it'll be almost like going home. I am ashamed I haven't played 2 or 3 in so long but it's funny because it still feels like I played them only yesterday. Even MGS1.

Anyway, I'll play Peace Walker first because to me it's a totally new game and it could be my/the last 'true MGS' for a while judging by the Rising route. Then I'll play MGS2 just to give myself a break from that sort of Jungle enviroment before revisiting it in MGS3. All the while possibly even visiting MGO for the full MGS lifestyle, it'd be great for a few months to just only various MGS, lol.

I reckon I will be on Peace Walker for a long time though given the almost never ending nature of it, I'm up for the grind, heh

Get yourself a nice 19" for like £100 - £200.

As for Peace Walker, it is a very long game.

My gamesave on PSP for Peace Walker is 100Hours+ and I haven't done ALL of the extra ops and co ops.

I don't think that it'll have the same shocking effect if you go from SD, to a HD remake of a PS2 game. I went from playing Shadow of the Colossus to playing the Resistance 1 demo from the store, and I was amazed at the change. I've told this story before but when I killed my first chimera I was looking at it in aim mode thinking WHAT ARE YOU!? lol

This is hardly a surprise or a proper announcement or anything but it realy does look like the HD collection might not be all that's coming.

In that case are they going to tweak the story for MGS2 where Snake says "him" for Sunny. -_-

Imo now would be the chance to do Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 as well as MGS1 and there you have yourself a Trilogy Collection!

Although they may want to tweak the story for them too haha...

Tweak the story though... See! They are going to put that extra elevator in the Blast Furnace!

I wonder how that would work out though... Maybe it will just be an elevator that doesn't work. XD

But yeah as we've all been saying they could have just put Twin Snakes into the HD Collection.
