Hasn't really convinced me yet, will continue to watch how it develops with interest though.
It looks very unrealistic. The kind of unrealistic that makes it seem silly, rather than the kind you can accept (camo suit, cyborg ninjas etc).
When he cuts the van it cuts clean in half with no bits flying off, and when he chops the guy up it just doesn't look very good. When he's cutting the stone arch down it just looks stupid. There should be a whole bunch of dust and it should collapse before he hits the last one. I don't know. Doesn't look like it will top MGS4.
I still kinda hope it's a spin off.
I'm sure I will get the game, then I can remake this scene! (at 45 seconds) :D :p
it's not espionage already...
Its not suppose to be, hence why it had "Lightning Bolt Action" in the title.
But I think graphics look good, but everything else is stupid.
...I don't like Raiden as a character but it doesn't look like a stealth game at all...
But Just think of Raiden Stealth Skills? No more Verticle Limit!
If an Enemy is about to turn & See him....
He ran up the wall, preparing the bisect him on landing! :D
Rising is... well, it certainly doesn't look like a MGS game. So I'll just consider it a spin-off, which is what it actually is.
At first I was hoping it'd be some spin off, but games re-invent themselves sometimes, look at Resident Evil for example they changed the gameplay completely. I think that now the main story to MGS is over, (1 2 3 4 PO and PW) they SHOULD experiment with new ways to make it playable.
It can't be snake crawling around with dart guns forever, and besides I think it's been confirmed there IS stealth to a certain degree in the game.
I say trust the new guys and maybe they'll suprise us yet.
