MGS on PSN store

Does anyone know if the first metal gear solid on PSN is in HD, or even if it's been improved in any way?

How's the visual quality of the game? Is it much better?

Sorry for all the questions :smileyhappy: my mate was looking to buy it but just wanted to know what it was like before hand.

Thanks

No, none of the PS1 classics range are any different to their disc counterparts visually at all.

The game is exactly the same as the disc version that came out in 1998.

EDIT: Unless you own the disc version, do not, under any circumstance let the graphics stop you buying it.

Re: MGS on PSN store

The best you can do is go into your PS3's Settings, find GAME SETTINGS, and choose your favourite set up as regards upscaling and smoothing. Other than that, it's just a PSOne game that also works on PS3 and PSP. No changes to the game its self.

I suppose the only real difference is no discs, so no need to physically get up and change them.

Can be all done with the controller. =D
