with mgs3 getting a 3d revamp for the nintendo 3ds and the talk of a possible hd remake of mgs1/2/3, would anyone be interested in playing the hd remakes in 3d? i'm yet to experience gaming in 3d but i can't see myself enjoying mgs as much if the originals had too much changed and i wonder if all the people going to buy it on the 3ds will be moving that slider down to 2d.

Yesterday, I checked out the 3DS MGS demo and although I don't like 3D games much, I still think seeing MGS in 3D was AWESOME!!! And when moved the 3D slider fully down to the off position, it lost it's awesomeness! So, that said MGS 3D all the way!!!

I wouldn't mind seeing 4 in 3D but I don't know about the others though.

I'm appalled at the possibility.

A restored, remastered trilogy would be all that is needed in my view.

i dont understand the 3d hype, im in the same boat as smokey i will be more than happy to see just the HD remake

If there is a any kind of a MGS HD upgrade we wont see until after rising is released which probably wont be until next year

i wouldn't expect rising to come out till late next year at the earliest but i'd think something like the HD remake could be announced at the same time as the psp2 release. would be a great addition to a launch line up, come on E3

The 3DS MGS does look pretty awesome. But, i couldn't care less about the whole 3D thing.

A HD remake would be enough.

I reckon:

2012 for Rising

2013 for MGS series on NGP

I do think Kojima will be focussing on getting Rising on the NGP, so this will push the adaptation of the other games back.
