Well after 4 years the ol Metal Gear online is now offline. Admittedley i stopped playing

regularly about 2 years ago, but jumped on and off now and agin, that and i also forgot my konami id and game id, which i put off from recovering until about a week ago.

Now its finished my overall impression was that it was memorable with some flaws, really the flaws were you needed 3 account log ins and the connection for Aus and NZ was ok at the best of times. But i thought the clan support was deep, i liked team sneaking but the general mgs quirkiness added character to it.

Yeah, i really loved MGO.

I remember setting the alarm for 3:30am wake ups to play in the weekly tourneys every Saturday morning to earn points for the reward shop.

Every kill felt rewarding playing online. Especially getting a CQC.

I will forever be a SLOTH.

Ha ha, i remember doing that, setting the alarm for 3:30,  rolling out of bed and watching the counter going down, Hoping everybody from OIN would show up in time, totally worth it

I did like the clan support, and the little touch of making an emblem in dot paint
